Unlike traditional albo or aurea forms that lean white or gold, Lemon Lime maintains a distinctly cool-toned, high-chlorophyll appearance—resulting in stronger growth with equally striking contrast.
This is a chimeric variegate, where pigment distribution is uneven across layers of actively dividing growth tissue. Each leaf is genetically unique, with color ranging from softly marbled to full splash or sectoral events. New leaves often emerge lime-toned and intensify as they harden off, especially under bright, indirect light.
