Live Delivery Guarantee
We ship live plants and predatory mites with care, experience, and a process built to give them the best chance of arriving healthy. Every order is covered by our Live Delivery Guarantee—but only if specific conditions are met.
By placing an order with FGMN Nursery, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this guarantee.
What’s Covered
We guarantee live arrival on the first delivery attempt for:

All plants
-
All predatory mites
-
Orders shipped within the U.S. or Canada
If your order arrives clearly dead or damaged beyond viability, we will offer a replacement or store credit, at our discretion, provided you follow the steps listed below.
What’s Not Covered
We cannot honor our guarantee if any of the following apply:

Package was left outside, in a mailbox, or on a truck for too long
→ This means more than 1–2 hours in direct sunlight or temperatures above 80°F or below 45°F, as confirmed by tracking timestamps and local weather data. -
First delivery attempt failed
→ If no one is available to receive the package on the first attempt, or if the package is delayed due to customer error, the guarantee is void. -
Incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address was provided
→ We are not responsible for delivery issues due to incorrect information entered at checkout. -
Package was forwarded, rerouted, or held by a third-party service
→ Any redirection or holding voids the guarantee. -
No communication was received within 24 hours of delivery
→ You must contact us within 24 hours of the delivery time as listed in the carrier’s tracking information. We require photographic evidence of both the packaging and contents. -
International orders outside the U.S.
→ International shipments are not covered by our live delivery guarantee.
What You Must Do
If your shipment arrives in poor condition, follow these steps:

Take clear photos of the plant or mites and packaging immediately

Email info@fgmnnursery.com within 24 hours of the recorded delivery time

Include your order number and a brief description of the issue
If you do not contact us within 24 hours, or fail to provide clear evidence, the guarantee cannot be honored.
What We Do to Protect Your Shipment
We use industry best practices and adapt packaging based on season and region:

Heat packs during cold weather (free of charge)

Ice packs during hot months for mite shipments to increase humidity and lower temperature

Insulation with polyfill or bubble wrap
-
Route monitoring to avoid weather-related delays and weekend layovers
We will delay your shipment if temperatures on the route are too extreme. Your plant arriving late is better than it arriving dead.
Terms of Agreement
Placing an order with FGMN Nursery constitutes agreement with this Live Delivery Guarantee and all terms listed above. These terms are available on our website at all times and are referenced in our shipping and checkout policies.
We reserve the right to deny refunds or replacements if the customer does not follow these procedures.
