A sachet run at 22.5% humidity released under 300 mites across two to three days. The same sachet at 52.5% released about 500 across ten to fifteen. Dry air does not slow the release down — it cuts it short, and the number most pages quote has its floor in the wrong place.

Every commercial rate for this animal is written per unit of area, because a greenhouse bench is one continuous canopy. Convert that onto a shelf of separate pots and the arithmetic gives you a comfortable number while most of your plants get nothing.
